1 Aug 2024 To effectively drive Power MOSFET’s you need about 12 Volt and enough current to charge the gate fast. Surprisingly, a NE555 timer makes a good MOSFET driver converting standard logic levels of 1.8 to 5 V to a gate drive signal of 12V at 200mA, which is enough for many applications! In this video I will explain how the circuit works, then I will build it and test the circuit to its limit to show its advantages and disadvantages. Arduino PWM code:
