A review of the potential toxicity of root canals.

Price was concerned about the pathological bacteria found in nearly all root canal teeth of that time. He was able to transfer diseases harbored by humans from their extracted root canal teeth into rabbits by inserting a fragment of a root canal root under the skin in the belly area of a test rabbit. He found that root canal fragments from a person who had suffered a heart attack, when implanted into a rabbit, would cause a heart attack in the rabbit within a few weeks. Transference of heart disease could be accomplished 100 percent of the time. Some diseases transferred only 88 percent of the time, but the handwriting was on the wall.

Dr. Price discovered that root canals had within them bacteria capable of producing many diseases. They had no place in the body. Which is more important? The life of the tooth or the life of the patient? This is still the primary argument facing us today

      I am co-author of the book The Toxic Tooth. Although there are truths presented in this movie, there are also way too many inaccurate claims, pseudoscience, and exaggerations. I had hoped that the movie Root Cause would offer an objective and science based presentation. It did not. However, the dental professional organizations are guilty of misleading claims as well. In my opinion the dental professional organizations, quackwatch, as well as the anti root canal groups present biased and dishonest opinions on this important subject.       Cole Sommers , Dr Robert K, I just checked out your book on Amazon, and I read to the end of the Introduction. I couldn’t stop reading, even though I was sad and angry at what you endured. I am genuinely sorry for your mistreatment from your own profession. You were a Truther, and you needed to be stopped, silenced, shamed, and slandered. Thank you for writing the book. I will be buying it, as I’m interested in this subject. I’m interested to read more about Dr Weston Price, as I heard his name / work spoken of highly by Instructors, while I was a student at Chiropractic College. I see the same things happening in my profession. Yes, Quackwatch has it in for Chiropractors as well, especially philosophy, subluxation, neurologically based chiropractors. Sad also, that during the current world situation truthers are being silenced. Anyone who speaks against the agenda of those in power has their voice snuffed, and their message censored.
