No One Has Seen God And Lived, How Can You See Jesus? The Old Testament indeed declares the majestic and tangible presence of God, debunking any notion that He cannot be seen.

In Exodus 24:9-11, it’s clear that Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy elders of Israel saw God: “Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up, and they saw the God of Israel. There was under his feet as it were a pavement of sapphire stone, like the very heaven for clearness.” - This passage shows that God can reveal Himself visibly to mankind.

Furthermore, Isaiah’s vision in Isaiah 6:1-5 vividly describes God’s throne and His glory: “In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple… For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!” - Here, Isaiah experiences a direct, visual encounter with God, emphasizing the divine’s visible manifestation.

In Daniel 7:9-10, we see another clear depiction of God in a form that is both majestic and accessible to human eyes: “As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days took his seat; his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool…” - This vision not only confirms God’s visibility but also introduces the concept of the dual thrones, one for the Ancient of Days (God the Father) and one for the Son of Man (Jesus Christ), as reaffirmed in Daniel 7:13-14 where the Son of Man approaches the Ancient of Days, receiving dominion and an everlasting kingdom.

The New Testament seals this truth in Mark 14:61-62 where Jesus directly claims His identity as the Son of Man, prophesying His future glory: “Again the high priest asked him, ‘Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?’ And Jesus said, ‘I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.’” - This confirms Jesus as the divine figure seen in Daniel’s vision, aligning perfectly with the Old Testament’s portrayal of a visible God. These scriptures collectively shatter any doubt about God’s visibility and His interaction with humanity.

    i think there’s been enough research on various aspects of the bible and Jesus. But even if we can’t establish facts;

    while the world teaches ‘seeing is believing’, Jesus teaches ‘believing is seeing’

    makes science kind of hard. automatically becomes a personal thing…

      You’re presupposing the frame here. You are approaching truth by first assuming what you want is true then looking for ways to validate that.

      I was a believer for the majority of my life. I wanted god to be real and I looked for evidence of that and asked her to reveal herself to me.

      She never did.

      My prayers were answered indistinguishably from random chance or my own excursion of effort to resolve a conclusion.

      The best piece of evidence was that the Bible said she existed, but there’s no evidence I should believe the Bible outside of the Bible telling me it was trustworthy.

      Then I started following the evidence and seeing where it actually led.

      And where was that?

      A cold, unknowing, uncaring, universe where–in spite of all odds, life managed to take hold and grow. We were a cosmic freak accident, but that let’s each one of us define for ourselves our purpose and meaning.

      We can make something of our short lives or we can continue to bury our heads in the sand and blindly attribute to god that which we didn’t bother to learn or investigate.

      And yeah, we know truths about our universe by using our senses, tools, and ingenuity to translate our observations into testable, repeatable hypotheses, which help us discover laws that govern systems and guide us into establishing theories codifying our understandings and observations of multiple systems into a cohesive starting point for future observations to take place.

      You can go outside and look at the sky. Most of the time during the day it’s blue. Science lets us know what the sky is, what blue is, why it’s often blue, and what causes different colors under exceptional circumstances.

      You can still choose to believe the sky is normally green, but (barring linguistic differences in certain parts of the world) you’d be wrong.

        Then I started following the evidence and seeing where it actually led.

        And resulted not believing in any God. Did you investigate spiritual encounters as well? (i don’t mean the feeling-churches)
