St. Thérèse of Lisieux is also known as St. Therese of the Child Jesus. Her full religious name is Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face (French: Thérèse de l’Enfant Jésus et de la Sainte Face). She is widely recognized by this title due to her deep devotion to the childhood of Jesus, which was a significant aspect of her spirituality and teachings. Additionally, she is affectionately referred to as the Little Flower because of her belief that she could achieve holiness through simple acts of love and trust in God, much like a flower grows in God’s garden.
