Streamed live on 15 Aug 2024 Muslims Leaving Islam I was born in France a Shia family under the Ismaili doctrine, practicing Islam under my parents who emigrated from Madagascar (and very interested since childhood in occultism and spiritualism actually) and grew up in a french territory called La Reunion island between Madagascar and Mauritius, where my daily zeal for being a good muslim even made me become at some point a ‘’junior imam’’ for the students in the mosque. Even though the Ismaili doctrine is muslim related, I believed God was the same regardless of the religion you would be into and just a different name under the sun, be it Shiva, Allah, Ganesh, Jesus, Buddha… But I was very sick, suffering herniated slipped disc from my professional years of playing rugby. At 20 years old, when I met a Christian friend at University, my beliefs and my faith were wrecked.
