Melissa Aguilar was known as “the angel communicator.” She read tarot, held mediumship readings for people’s dead loved ones, and followed a spirit guide who told her he was her husband from a past life. She believed she was doing God’s work.
Then she got sick. Her gifts went silent in the hospital, and her prayers felt like they were falling to the floor. From a hospital bed she cried out, “Lord, if you get me out of this bed, I will serve you.” She tells what happened next. She threw out her cards, crystals and pendulums, read the Bible for the first time and memorized her first scripture, Proverbs 3:5. She says she met Jesus. In her kitchen she says a demon in dirty robes begged her to come back, and one scripture sent it away.
Her warning to anyone in the New Age is this: “The devil mimics. He appeared to me as an angel of light. I thought I was seeing angels.”
This one is for anyone dabbling in tarot, Reiki, crystals, mediums, angels or spirit guides, and for anyone who loves someone who is.
