A doctor looked at Ana Konig and asked, “What are we gonna do with your body if we lose you today?” She was in septic shock with a blood pressure of 70/40. Ana turned to the whole room and said, “I have come into this hospital alive, and I’m gonna go home alive.”

Before the ambulance arrived, Ana says she heard the Lord tell her three words: “Unlock the doors.” Alone in her house with a 105°F fever, she doesn’t remember walking to the door. By the time help arrived, she couldn’t walk at all.

But that confidence was forged through devastating loss.

In less than three years, Ana lost her mother to ALS, her twin brother—a pastor—was murdered in Brazil, and her best friend died of cancer. For six weeks she sat on a beach in Sydney demanding answers from God and heard nothing.

Then He asked her one question that changed everything.

Ana Konig is a former professional gymnast from Brazil who now serves on the admissions team at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) in Redding, California.
