Kimberly grew up inside the Jehovah’s Witness organization. Her father was an elder. The control was total. When she finally walked away at 17 she had no idea what she was walking into.

What followed was years of crack cocaine addiction. But not the kind most people picture. Kimberly was a functioning addict. She kept her job. She kept her life looking normal on the outside. Nobody knew what was happening behind closed doors.

Then her husband got clean and started going to church. Kimberly was resistant. She had already been burned by religion once. But Jesus does not give up that easily.

In this episode of Deliverance Diaries Kimberly shares what life inside the Jehovah’s Witness cult actually looked like, how she went from leaving a religious cult at 17 to crack cocaine addiction, what it means to be a functioning addict and how long she kept it hidden, and how Jesus Christ broke through every wall she had built and set her completely free.
