Facing 40 years in prison for armed robbery, Jacody Owens opened his Bible to a passage he couldn’t have planned. What happened next changed the course of his life.

Today, Jacody trains Christians to walk in supernatural authority, casts out demons, and sees miracles happen on the street.

Jacody Owens spent two years fighting two armed robbery charges, each carrying a maximum sentence of 40 years. As his court date approached, he opened his Bible at random and it fell to Acts 12 — the exact story of Peter being freed from prison by an angel. He calls it something he could never have planned. When sentencing finally came, the gun charge was dropped, and Jacody received one year of house arrest and three years of probation.

Since then, Jacody has become a full-time street minister and discipleship trainer, praying for healing in parking lots, malls, and city streets — often with strangers who have no idea what’s about to happen. In this episode, he shares real accounts of physical healing, a deliverance encounter that left witnesses stunned, and what he calls “freak your feelings” — his approach to living by faith instead of emotion.

This is a conversation about radical grace, deliverance, spiritual authority, supernatural healing, and what can happen when an ordinary Christian decides to actually believe what the Bible says is possible.
