Christian testimony of a former state trooper, SWAT sniper, U.S. Marine, and prison inmate whose battle with drug addiction ended in a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ.

Chuck Ondo spent his career enforcing the law—as a U.S. Marine, then a Pennsylvania State Police SWAT sniper who investigated murders and worked undercover narcotics. But behind the badge, addiction was taking hold. When it finally caught up with him, Chuck found himself on the other side of the system he once served: in a prison cell, isolated 23 hours a day, having missed his own father’s funeral from behind bars.

Then came a dream—a man in a suit holding a Bible telling him, “Come follow me.” The very next morning, that same man walked into Chuck’s barber shop.

Today, Chuck leads Semper Fi Mission, a Christ-centered ministry serving veterans, the homeless, and men battling addiction. From the barber chair he calls the “Holy Spirit Chair,” he has seen lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ.

This powerful testimony explores addiction, incarceration, PTSD, identity, forgiveness, redemption, prison ministry, and what happens when God meets someone at their absolute lowest point.
