After days of unexplained crying and overwhelming anguish, Joseph fell to his knees and told God:

“I don’t think You know who I am.”

Then something happened.

Joseph says two angels appeared.

Later, while reading his Bible, he says a giant hand grabbed him by both ankles and pulled him completely out of his body.

Joseph looked back and saw his physical body still lying there.

Then the angels took him somewhere he never expected.

Hell.

Joseph says he entered a terrifying place inside the earth filled with screams, fire, cells, demons, and countless people.

But that wasn’t the only place he saw.

The angels then took him somewhere completely different.

Joseph describes it as “outer darkness,” a place of overwhelming darkness and torment that he says was outside the earth.

Then everything changed.

Joseph says the angels carried him past planets and stars until he entered an incredibly beautiful place filled with brilliant light.

There, he saw a man walking with legions of angels behind Him.

Joseph says it was Jesus.

When Joseph looked into Jesus’ eyes, he says he experienced something almost impossible to describe.

Then Jesus answered the prayer that started everything.

He spoke only three words:

“I know you.”

Joseph says Jesus embraced him and sent him back.

By the time Joseph returned to his body, he says more than seven hours had passed.

And the story still wasn’t over.

The following night, Joseph says three dark beings appeared in his room before he was pulled from his body again and shown a massive white book with gold trim.

Was it the Book of Life?

Joseph says he doesn’t know.

Joseph says his supernatural journey began years earlier when he told his wife he wasn’t sure God still performed miracles.
