The Bureau of Engraving and Printing sells them through the official government website, priced above face value as collectibles. Every note can be cut out and spent. Handing the whole sheet to a cashier is also valid, though they will silently curse you.

Hate coins. Always falling out of my pocket.
“So put it in the change pocket!”
Have you ever tried to get anything out of the change pocket while a line of people behind you waits to check out?
If not electronic, bills please. US needs to ditch all coins less than a quarter.
Change pocket? Do you by any means the condom pocket in jeans?
I put a condom in there once. Never got it out.
For both the reasons you’re thinking.
😋
Idk about America, but in the countries I’ve lived in, people put their cash in purses, wallets etc excepting weird jangly old men, and you would start off with notes of five or ten and up
has the US not invented wallets yet?
Uhh, yes. We have wallets. The things coins don’t fit in well and immediately fall out of.
Bills are better than coins, hands down.
I’ve never had any trouble with coins in any wallet I’ve used. As in: never had a coin fall out in decades of use
Maybe you’re thinking of a coin purse?
Any time I put coins in a billfold I make it rain like the world’s stingiest pervert.
My wallets always had compartments for bills, coins, cards and IDs
Wait, the tiny pocket within the regular pocket that some pants have is for change?
the “coin pocket” on jeans was actually for pocket watches back in the day. When jeans were called “waist overalls”.
Good luck cramming a pocket watch into one.
shrinkflation :(
