FULL DESCRIPTION Ian McCormack was a self-described atheist traveling the world when a night dive off the island of Mauritius turned deadly. After being stung five times by highly venomous box jellyfish, Ian’s body began shutting down as he desperately fought to reach a hospital.

As Ian approached death, his entire life flashed before him and he began questioning everything he believed. Was there really a God? Is there life after death? What happens when we die? With little time remaining, Ian cried out to a God he wasn’t even sure existed.

Ian says he eventually flatlined and was later told he had been dead for 15–20 minutes. What followed was an extraordinary out-of-body experience that confronted his atheism head-on.
