After a serious accident and a life threatening medical crisis, Karl says he found himself outside of his body. What followed was an experience involving spiritual warfare, an encounter with Jesus, healing, and a message that would completely challenge the way he had understood his Christian faith.

Karl had been a committed churchgoing Christian for years. He studied the Bible, attended church faithfully and tried to live according to what he had been taught. Yet during his experience, he says Jesus showed him something deeper: Christianity is not simply about religious activity or going through the motions. Jesus desires relationship, obedience and a life motivated by genuine, selfless love.

Karl also shares what he believes he learned about the importance of loving God, loving others, walking closely with Jesus and allowing the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to guide our choices.
