The spoon can actually mess with the evenness of the heating even more than the foil. It won’t be as dramatic about it though. Unless there’s something flammable at the focal point, then it can get real dramatic.

I bring it around with me everywhere I go, just in case, and I always wear it at the doctor’s office or if I’m sick. Mostly it just stays in my pocket nowadays though.
