Yeah I’m freelance and really love my work. It’s rewarding and impactful. Without any doubt these things are true. I’d probably cut back my hours a bit. But I’d just tell my clients that my services are now free.

I completely agree. It’s kind of insane that this can be done at all let alone outside of a high end medical lab.

It’s more the feeling of satisfaction and less a feeling of pleasure.

Working out is not a pleasurable thing, it’s hard, tiring, and painful.

But you see positive changes in your body, you feel better day to day and you know you are adding years on to your life.

This is what makes it enjoyable. But it will not be like this on day one. It will be like this maybe after 2-4 weeks of doing it consistently.

Also you have to eat right. If your just eating junk you may not feel as good.

If possible put up a gate and a no trespassers sign. Or a beware of dog, they may second guess entering.

If you do have a no trespassing sign and it doesn’t stop, maybe add another sign that says the police will be called and they will be reported for trespassing if they enter the gate without permission.

You could even add that message to your doorbell.

I’d buy the condo my wife and I are renting. We really love it and the owner wants to sell it, but our monthly payment would almost triple.

Id also get a modest car, like a Corolla and a house in the countryside.

With mastodon, you can switch your user between instances and bring your followers and stuff with you. I guess the only problem would be is if the server you are leaving suddenly went offline, but I’m on a pretty decent server so I’m not too worried about it.

I think I could legit buy my condo in an hour with that kind of money. But only if the agent is in this part of the city and not in her other home outside the city.

My wife could write up a basic contract that could work as she went to law school and used to do some work for a law firm.

But if that still does not count, then I’d probably order a bunch of computer stuff. Like a new laptop, all the parts for the latest pc stuff, a steam deck. Maybe a bunch of hard drives and some server level stuff.

I guess I’d have tons of money still leftover so I’d buy my wife some stuff that she would like.
