Two subreddits that I check on occasion for information/memes, both of which I’m hoping will eventually gain traction here. I don’t have an account though.
I mostly use it for personal and group communication, I’m not in any large channels.
I use both Matrix and XMPP regularly. Matrix is what I recommend, unless you want something that will run on low-end hardware, then XMPP is better. They’re both good, and very similar.
Most water plants I’ve been in have stopped using fluoride, or hope to stop using it soon fyi.
In Canada most people drink straight from the tap. I’ve met one person who uses a Brita filter…

Lemmy.ca is the best. Large local instance, great uptime, good admins.
And we have a handful of large communities.
