Fuck bread cause it’s the most solid and can be nice and warm and fluffy.
Marry Pasta because of all the variety that you can appreciate day to day.

I don’t really pay attention to apple news but didn’t the EU force them to allow sideloading a little bit after the whole usbc thing
What data does Lemmy store that isn’t already inherently public. Private DMs and IPs are all I can think of, and neither of those are of any value as far as I’m concerned.
idk if you mean lemmy.ml specifically but I have been using !gaming@beehaw.org (is this how you link communities)
Well for one thing Apple rather famously slows down its old phones and lost a lawsuit over it. Apple has plenty of merits but longevity is definitely not one of them.
I joined lemmy.ca because I like to keep a diet of local news and a place to avoid American influence. I like using my local feed for well the local stuff and then my subscriptions for all the niche interests that the Canadian community couldn’t sustain alone.
I guess I haven’t looked in a while, but I see this which like very interesting!
I own my computer, and I control what is displayed on it. I can do anything I want to control what is and isn’t on my screen. It is not my problem is the majority of content is reliant on an ineffective monetization method.
I do wish someone would make an ad block that faked impressions. But it would probably lose the advantages of fast load times, security etc.
Unless you live on an indigenous reserve. 😞
I loke lemmings, I think it’s a good reminder about how the dangers of letting any platform influence you too much.
I’ve been trying to jump for a long time now, I used tildes for a while, but it just didn’t have enough content I’m interested in. Now it seems lemmy is gaining enough steam to be my primary social media.
Reddit really peaked with the Obama ama. After that it was all downhill, the place grew too quickly to keep its culture.
I think the subs I am going to miss the most are mostly gaming subreddits, I dint have high hopes they’ll move. /r/bindingofisaac will be most missed and /r/196 for the hilarity. I am sort of surprised that the list is so small, I feel like reddit communities have been going down in quality faster than usual lately. I like this place and tildes, if it could grow a bit more so 100+ comment threads could happen daily that would be perfect.
Is coffee dangerous because drinking it at 11pm each night keeps you awake too? I think that’s overstating your case, although I think there is a minor benefit to limiting blue light.
personally, I have all the lights set to turn red an hour after sunset and it has had a much larger effect than limiting screen time at bedtime, which is what most people seem to focus on.
