Some variant of what’s it?
Wouldn’t the correction be sufficient? Other users could read it and decide to downvote
I like this idea. Make the karma irrelevant so we don’t get those awful bots or the tit-for-tat arguments

Maybe the Ask history mods don’t understand how to use it yet? This platform does take a bit of learning, but every update seems like it increases the end user experience
I believe in anything that can be proven scientifically to exist. Show me evidence, not anecdotal stories which further an idea of “just believe me.”

I ended up with the HP Victus because it was on sale for $499. I added the maximum RAM and spent half a day doing bios and other updates, because the poor thing was shipped with glitchy software and bios. After the updates and RAM upgrades, she’s been a joy. No reboots, no blue screens, and I can play Skyrim while I’m in a Skype meeting
Please PLEASE get this one up and running! That place is a treasure trove of information. So much so, they should have their own website while maintaining a lemmy domain. That info should be disseminated across multiple platforms so it isn’t lost.
Yes! Those are the only way I’ve been able to get real-time info!
I just bought a gaming laptop to replace my business laptop. Gaming laptops are generally better at everything. The hardest part was finding one I could have in meetings that didn’t scream it was a gaming laptop. Sometimes I like to play SimCity while I’m sitting in meetings.
I wish there was a simple “X” button to hide posts, like RIF had. I know you can do it via Lemmy, but it doesn’t seem to work in Liftoff until hours later. Maybe I’m doing it wrong because I’m new, but I’ve even gone to the browser side and I’m still seeing the same stuff 5 hours later.
Overall, a very smooth experience. If Jerboa and Liftoff combined into one app, I think we’d have it all.
