I would like to be able to do whatever I want whenever I want, and never have to sell my time, focus and body to be able to do so. Or to even just survive…

The “left” in the US is really actually center-right. And the “right” is far-right. So yes, both the “left” and “right” in the US are basically the same. Neoliberalism is just fascism with a smart suit and empty platitudes after all.

But saying the left and right are the same when talking about political ideology (and not the political landscape of the USA) is extremely wrong.

The right wants to conserve existing power structures or revert to previous ones. The left wants to dismantle power structures and bring about egalitarianism.

That is the dichotomy. To the right hierarchy, to the left egalitarianism.

The USA has been the subject of the most powerful and long lasting propaganda machine and psyops in history.

I guess that’s mostly alt-rock, slacker rock type stuff. Except Tainy… But damn DATA is fucking good man.

Issue with Tacitus is he wrote about Jesus over 70 years after he allegedly died. After a Christian movement was already under way.

And yes I do think Jesus was a real historical figure.

But we have very little actual history on him, that’s all.

Unicorn Wars… it’s a French/Spanish animation movie about a “carebear” v unicorns war. It’s like full metal jacket, but much more brutal and bizarre….

Sadly there are not a lot of extra-biblical sources on Jesus and his life actually.

There is one, a single one. And it’s pretty bad. Josephus. He basically mentions “James, the brother of Jesus they call Christ”, in the middle of a text not about Jesus at all.

And that’s it.

I like everything, so there are very few genres or styles of music that I don’t expect to ever like at all.

Well raggaeton is one of them…

But man, have you guys listened to DATA by Tainy? It’s actually fucking good.

My main gripe with raggaeton has always been the samey and honestly uninspired production.

I know Bad Bunny had a banger last year, I haven’t listened to the whole album. But I didn’t love the few songs I heard.

But man DATA is awesome. It gives me Dawn FM vibes. It’s dark, very synth-genres inspired, and I do get an OPN vibe from it. Maybe that’s why I loved it tbh.

If you guys haven’t listened to it, give it a try. Specially if you like synth-genres and experimental electronic music, but don’t like raggaeton.

“Soul” is just consciousness. Which many people seem to equate to the brain here.

There is 0 scientific evidence that consciousness has anything to do with our brains. Much to the contrary actually.

Consciousness truly is one of the biggest mysteries of life. We all experience it, but the more you observe it, the less you can find it.

It may feel at first as it’s a phenomena of the brain, of the mind. But soon after you start paying really close attention to it, you realize that consciousness is behind the mind. It’s underneath it.

It observes the mind. It observes everything. And that’s what it is. Perceiving. Aware of everything.

Its the only indivisible and irreducible thing in the universe that we ever found. Consciousness just is. It is the awareness in you. It is the awareness in everything.

When we crack consciousness, all these talks of “souls”, “god”, “atheism”, will seem just silly tbh.
