I just recently started using their totp function and I can’t believe I didn’t switch sooner. Just the fact alone that it automatically copies the code to your clipboard is such a Time saver not having to open up a separate app.

Definitely Stephen King’s IT, the 90’s miniseries. Tim Curry is absolutely terrifying as Pennywise. That lip curl he does when he says “Oh yes, Georgie, they float”.
Highly recommend the Corridor Digital “VFX Artists React” series episodes where they talk about Darby O’Gill. It’s fascinating how they did a lot of the effects.
Same, I love really unnerving movies in the first 2/3 of men did that well but then it just went way over the top.
Ooh, what did you think of Men? Also, Beau is a way different movie, but I thought the endings had similar vibes with a pure WTF is going on feel.
Same. It’s my favorite Ghibli film, but I have to get myself in the right headspace to be broken by it again.
The bit that I cannot recall if it was explained is why did the special ops guy go if he had a loving wife at home; what was his reason for self destruction?
I don’t remember an explanation for it aside from it was just his mission as part of being in the military. But he didn’t really have a “loving” wife at home. She cheated on him. Maybe he knew and volunteered for the mission because his marriage was over.
I absolutely love Yorgos Lanthimos’ movies. Killing of a Sacred Deer is probably my favorite. His movies just have this uneasyness that really makes you feel…off watching them.
Also “The Void” is another good one.
It’s probably my favorite scifi movie that made me really feel something. I think you can find a lot to relate to, grief, depression, loss. I really think the main theme is self destruction, specifically resulting from some kind of trauma. Everyone had their own issues and they were all basically destroying themselves and finding solace in the shimmer.
I absolutely loved Beau is Afraid, but yeah that last act was a trip. It reminded me of “Men”. The ending of that is just pure WTF.
OMG I’m gonna start using this. My dogs also know not to come in the kitchen but they think as long as their back feet are still on the carpet they are not in the kitchen.
Oh wow, I completely forgot about r/casualconversation. Never subbed but I used to see it on r/all often, but it’s been years.
That said, I caught up on sleep mostly and messed around with my 3d printers. Got an appt in about an hour and couldn’t sleep last night so been up all night, lol. So much for catching up.
Right! I was using Authy so I didn’t have to grab my phone every time, but even that was still having to open the Authy app and wait for it to load, copy+paste. But using the keyboard shortcuts for Bitwarden is just so fast. Like you said, feels like a hack. It even auto copies on Android and with the autofill, makes it so easy.
