I believed that I was being unfairly marked with a biased grading.

I got access to admin privileges, found another students essay from the same class but different timeslot, knowing what grade they got after handing it in early, I changed nothing but the font and name and handed it in to get a full letter grade less than the original student had.

I couldn’t keep myself from complaining about it and was suspended over it, but it was a privilege when I knew I was right.

Edit: To clarify, it was the same teacher for both class groups.

And the arrogance about it was unbelievable, it was extremely common behaviour.

In the last year I started noticing on Reddit people typing the ‘letter’-word and half the time I wouldn’t know what word they are referring to.

On a couple occasions I would reply asking what word they meant and they would reply that I should know, with my comment downvoted.

That reminds me of another thing I was sick of seeing, people asking a question and getting told to google it or that lmgtfy link. You would later see people in the comments mentioning that Google took them there when Googling for it.

Relay for Lemmy as well, but they actually seem to be trying to adapt to the new API for whatever reason.

Not quite yet, it’s assumed that some of the bigger Reddit apps that are shutting down may do all three to maximise their userbase.

My local cities daily thread is more active than it what’s left on Reddit, despite the Reddit community having 600k subs. 410 comments on the Reddit thread, 480 on the lemmy community thread.

It’s been like this daily.

Tbh, I felt Jerboa 0.35 was a step back, it no longer applies my profile default sorting on boot.

Lemmy 0.18 was a good update, made communities easier to link, next is posts/comment native linking.

Moving from a rural 10,000 population town, to a multi-million population major city.

I watched Sick (2022), the story was about normal/average for a slash-horror, but the action scenes themselves were surprisingly well shot. It was written by the same writer of the original Scream movies.
