I have many things to say, but I just can’t bring myself to discuss it in a public forum anymore. It’s not that I expect that I’d be on the opposite side of a lot of people so I’d be flamed and shut down. In truth I find myself fairly middle of the road, but politics has become so polarized and hate filled that I’m more saddened for the future than anything else. I worry for what world my kids will inherit from my generation. I have hope though for genZ they seem to fully get behind the concept of FAFO. I just want them to start voting before it’s too late.
I haven’t watched any movies this month, but I’ve been staring at John Wick 4 in my queue for weeks. Does that count?
Yes. I’m looking forward to more original content rather that all of the reposts from reddit. I’m not sure when that tipping point will be, but I hope it doesn’t have to do anything with poo.
Came here to say this. Glad you were here.
Manjaro KDE for years. I’ve tried ubuntu, Fedora, Mint, Debian, Antergos and plain ol’ Arch. I’ve stuck with Manjaro for simplicity sake, going through the motions of installing and setting up Arch was great from a learning perspective. It gave me a much better understanding of what’s under the hood. In the end though, I wanted a simpler process of getting an OS going.
I used Slide, not Apollo, but the amount of reverence that app seems to get here makes me wonder if he did port it over how much that would expedite/improve migration from reddit. If I were in his position, I’d do it out of spite.
Yes, you’ll be able to communicate with almost all of the servers, a very select few are blocked for reasons that pre-date me. When you look at a username, you’ll see an extra @ after their name indicating where they’re posting from. The Communities (subreddits) that you subscribe to can be more or less anywhere.
You could go Ubiquiti. 200 for a dream router and 100 each for g4 instants. I think your recordings would go to an SD card, but I’m not sure, I have a dream machine pro, so it’s a bit different. No monthly charges since it’s all hosted at home. Camera quality is better than all of my neighbors with rings
