Damn, that’s weird indeed.

You probably explained the unexplained. A gate change would explain why even the staff were confused, as they were just there for whatever other flight was assigned to that gate.
And seen through the social lens.
Tis a fact that without AC, Europeans were very prone to really bad illness, especially dangerous when they were feverish. Missionaries to Europe were undergoing a very risky trip.
I can get by if I really tell myself to calm down, chill out with the walking, find ways to carry heavy stuff not on my back, and dip into AC whenever I can. Jumping from shade to shade in the sun is a necessity for me too.
Wow, your son has a point 😂
There’s no karma so what’s the point. It’s a bit of a dopamine chase anyway.
Me to a Chinese teacher called Nick: ‘Hello everybody! Hi Doctor Nick!’

Number of times my wife puts in a metal bowl scares me.
I don’t know much but one recent comment suggested that the users interacting with other communities causes those posts and communities to appear on the feed. If there are only two of you, I presume the only posts you’ll see are those you both subscribed to (in server/all). Perhaps I’m wrong and ‘all’ will show up any old posts.
I always thought golem was super cool, but it wasn’t advantageous against the elite four.
Clue is a surprisingly great ‘chick flick’ for anyone to watch. Watching it is like reading a novel like Sense and Sensibility.
I’ve learned that no matter how nice people seem, they can still fuck you over when money is involved.
Invested quite a lot of money and they chose to remove all contact with me after I told them I wouldn’t bail out their debt.
So lesson learned. Absolutely make people accountable for their managerial actions every single day before they throw a business into debt. And get out if they show red flags of fucking up.
I suspect that if Reddit got that bad, centralised alternatives such as the Hive would mop up a lot of the userbase. Yes they might not come over to Lemmy, but they could be enticed if Lemmy gets a bit of a split up of beginner/advanced levels of control.
Communities may be similar in name but the users that belong to them probably would make the community have a different vibe. I quite like the idea of signing up to two science communities from Beehaw and ml, and eventually I can opt out if one misbehaves or produces uninteresting or irrelevant content to me.
Indeed, he would be the poster child of Lemmy and thousands would follow!
Like for example the default search for communities should be All due to the confusion of search results only popping up with internal instance communities. I worked it out noticing no @ but most newbies will get confused and see jangled messes of community and instance addresses.
At least they’re sticking to same format using [DISC]. That reminds me of good ol’ r/manga.
humansbeingbros is my wholesome dose, so to me that’d be essential.
Oh and also cozyplaces. It’s quite fun and interesting to see how people make their living environment quite so cozy and enjoyable.
Guinea pigs and rabbits are not really exotic and are standard in the UK. Guinea pigs can be amazingly affectionate if they spend enough time around you and get loads of treats.
