  • Under normal circumstances I prefer desktop since, at least mine, has plenty of USB plugs when compared to the crummy laptop I currently have. I also have never really been a huge fan of laptop keyboards or trackpads over a standard USB mouse and keyboard.

The only thing my laptop currently has/does that better my computer is the ability to more easily carry it around and that it has a detachable touch screen monitor thing. Otherwise, I’d say my desktop is superior in just about every other way.

  • Just to see it crumble to pieces, I would have any means to report anything and block people/posts on fakebook removed whilst allowing any and all speech (including hate speech) to be spread just so that way there is a mass collapse in user base. Also, make the ads 100 times more intrusive.

As it crumbles, I’d just watch from atop my high horse and constantly blame everyone else who isn’t me or working for me for my problems and the failures of the company in a very top 1% fashion, on the platform of course.

When it finally crumbles and if the media asks what went wrong, I’ll just say I was following the google approach and blame them while using prepared 100% AI faked evidence to try and prove I was in contact with higher ups with google and getting advice from them, even down to faking actual calls.

Finally, assuming I have any money stored away from all of this, I’d use it to jumpstart my aggressive anti-communist agenda.

  • If we are talking strictly console, then the xbox360 is my all time favorite console and preferred console, especially since my absolute favorite controller goes to them as well.

Otherwise, PC is just more convenient for the fact I can use a 3rd party 360 controller and play console games via dedicated emulators or RetroArch cores.

I have a few other consoles, but my desktop and 360 are most definitely my picks for what I’d use if given the choice.

If I had a hacked switch and my computer had better specs to run pokemon violet at even close to 30 frames per second, you bet I’d just back up my games onto my desktop and play them on it using my 3rd party 360 controller.

  • Dizzy Devil Ducky@lemm.eetoasklemmy@lemmy.mlDo you consider AI art “OC” ?

If you take the art and just trace and polish it and nobody is any the wiser, in that situation yes. At least until that is found out, in which I will refer to it as derivative work over original content. It’s why I am calling some of the digital art I am working on AI derivative rather than full-on original content.

If all you do is generate an image, do no edits whatsoever, and then act like you did it, then I couldn’t in good faith considering “OC” since you did nothing but type a few words and maybe click a few buttons or moved a slider 3 pixels to the left.

  • From the games I can recall, Anuto TD (Another Ugly Tower Defense).

I cannot say whether or not it would get attention because of the graphic quality, but I know there are plenty of people who wouldn’t play it since it is not 8k super ultra 3D high def masterwork quality graphics and would gladly shit on it because it doesn’t have the most realistic graphics out there.

  • I remember learning most of this when I was in scouts, even though I’ll admit I can’t say I remember most of it.

I definitely remember at summer camp once having to take a bunch of wood found within the forest and making a makeshift shelter and for one night having to sleep in it. All for the wilderness survival badge.

The skills you listed are definitely skills people should know just in case they are ever out in an area without cell signal. Although, really, everyone should know basic first aid since even just a little bit of first aid before a first responder comes can be the difference between life and death.
