I have played Eve Online so many hours, and it’s a bad game. Don’t do it. you will spend hundreds of hours dreaming about the cool thing you’ll do later, but for 99% of players the cool thing will never happen. You will be part of the one percent’s cool thing.

Do you have a similar game?

As a slightly different perspective, I really wish I could play without the PVP, I just want to enjoy the awesome gorgeous visuals and atmosphere while experiencing the stories and cool lore.

I don’t get much opportunity to hang out with my friend and play sea of thieves, maybe a few hours every few months, so when someone ruins our entire night because they enjoy griefing other people, it really sucks.

Take the other day for example, they added a sort of short tales thing, or something like that, so we wanted to check it out, but we got chased off the moment we tried to reach the island the quest was on.

When we try to play a game only to be unable to actually experience the content and have our time wasted in the process? Really leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

Great game, needs an option to play PVP or PVE. Servers are spun up as players join and leave and are very small, no reason they can’t accommodate both playstyles with ease.

Sea of Theives would end up very shallow without the threat of having your progress challenged. There are games like Deep Rock Galactic that cater for this. In SoT there are also ways to minimize getting griefed. Don’t put up an emissary flag. Don’t hold treasure. Doing the original tall tales gives you an instance where pvp is turned off. If you seek treasure, be ready to defend it. I don’t think the game should focus on the once a month players too much.
