I’ve heard this argument before. I guess I just think I’d be happier if I was more ignorant. I think most people would be too. Does knowing all these things really make our lives better? Sure we live longer, but does that really matter? I’d rather die dumb, young, and happy than smart, old, and miserable.
Meh, I love my youtube videos, random movies and tv shows, talking to random strangers online, video games, and various fun things. Better than some newspaper or radios, or worse, before newspapers and radios, people didn’t have anything to do. I mean for extroverts they might talk to people irl, but what is an introvert like me gonna do? Technology is good, tech monopolies/oligopolies are bad.
