Jade’s life before Jesus was marked by indulgence in sinful behaviors, including partying, drinking, smoking, and stealing. She allowed her flesh to take control, living without regret or awareness of the consequences. However, everything began to change as God worked through pivotal moments in her life to draw her closer to Him.

The passing of Jade’s grandmother, a deeply religious woman, sparked a desire in her heart to seek Christ. Though this loss planted a seed, it wasn’t enough to fully bring her to Him. Later, at Winterfest this past winter, Jade felt the Holy Spirit during a powerful session addressing struggles like addiction. While impactful, it still didn’t push her far enough. It wasn’t until she experienced a life-or-death car accident last week that Jade realized she needed assurance of her eternal destiny. In that moment, she questioned whether she would go to heaven and felt the urgency to surrender fully to Christ.

Since giving herself to Jesus, Jade’s life has transformed. She no longer allows her flesh to control her actions and has overcome her stealing problem. Her relationship with God has deepened—she no longer questions His plans but trusts Him completely. Jade now lets God guide her path, understanding that He works everything for a reason and uses both people and circumstances to shape her journey.

Jade’s story is a testament to how God can use both moments of loss and near-death experiences to bring someone into His loving embrace. Her decision to be baptized reflects her desire to publicly declare her faith and live fully for Christ.
